Registered users can post to the Events Guide. Feel free to post details of any event you think will be of interest to your community.
To add an item in the Local Events database you must login. Now go to the Local Events page and click the Add New button, which opens the Submission Form.

The following fields are available:
Name – Enter the title of the event (e.g. Bring your pets day).
Date – Select the Day, Month and Year of the event from the dropdown boxes.
Picture – Click on the Browse button to locate a picture on your hard drive that you want to associate with this item. Select the picture you want and click the Open button.
NB You don't have to add a picture.
There are limits to the size of pictures you can post to the site. Leaving Resize selected will automatically resized large pictures to the sites maximum width and height. You can also downsize the picture further by changing the maximum width and height.
Details – Enter the details of the event and remember to include all relevant information that folk will need to know if they are going to attend. Click the Check Spelling button to ensure you have spelt everything correctly.
Web Link – Enter the full website address of a web page that you want to associate with this item. The correct format is http://www.domain.co.uk. If you cannot remember the full address, then enter the domain and click on the Go button – this will open the website in a new window. Now navigate to the required page and copy and paste the address from the Address Bar into this field.
NB You don't have to add a Web Link.
Click the Save button to save the item. Or click the Cancel button to cancel it.
